David McElroy, founder and Company Director of IGS has been involved in the field of Probate Research since 1977 and together with a team of research agents provides invaluable experience and expertise in the field of tracing next-of-kin or unknown beneficiaries.

David McElroy is a founding member of the Association of Professional Genealogists in Ireland (APGI) and has served as a Council member representing the interests of its members in Northern Ireland. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States and Canada and is recognized as an expert in his field. He is currently a member of the General Register Office of Northern Ireland (GRONI) Users Group.

Since its inception, IGS has been responsible for the successful completion of numerous cases resulting in a huge number of persons receiving entitlements of which they had been unaware and has assisted in many instances of helping to re-establish contact between family members who had become estranged.
